EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This report presents the main results of the implementation of the Civil Society Index (CSI) in Bolivia, which was carried out by Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Bolivia and the Centro de Investigación y Promoción del Campesinado (CIPCA) between December 2004 and January 2006.

The report was produced by the CIVICUS CSI and its country partner, GADIS (Grupo de Análisis y Desarrollo

Institucionaly Social).

The assessment in Argentina reveals that the four dimensions have a moderate level of development and are relatively

well balanced. Environment, Values and Impact show similar levels, while Structure is somewhat lagging behind as the
